Garbage service is done in the Village of New Bedford every Monday. Residents who would like to have garbage service should call our office. Each residence is billed on an individual basis. Garbage should be left at the curb by 6:00 a.m. Every 32 gallon can or bag that is left out for pickup should have a $ .50 garbage sticker attached. These stickers can be purchased at the Lathrop residence at 109 N Water St.

     The Village of New Bedford will have a Spring Clean up with location and date to be announced. Items that are not accepted at the landfill and cannot be taken are as follows; appliances, tires, batteries, building materials, chucks of concrete, yard waste or hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals or petroleum products, etc.
