Garbage service is done in the Village of Neponset every Wednesday. Garbage should be left at the curb by 6:00 a.m. Every 32 gallon can or bag that is left out for pickup should have a garbage sticker attached. These stickers are distributed when residents pay their quarterly water bills at the Whaples and Farmers State Bank 120 Commercial St. Each household receives 10 stickers per quarter.

     The Village of Neponset will have a Spring Clean up with location and date to be announced. Items that are not accepted at the landfill and cannot be taken are as follows: appliances, tires, batteries, building materials, chucks of concrete, yard waste or hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals or petroleum products, etc.
