Illinois Valley Waste Services started servicing accounts in the Village of Manlius in January, 2004. We have two different pricing options for garbage service. If your family generates a larger amount of garbage the first option would be better for you. It is for weekly pickup of up to four 32-gallon cans or bags. This service costs $12 per month.

     The second option is for people who would generate smaller amounts of garbage. With this option, you can leave out up to two 32-gallon cans or bags for $8.50 per month.

     Any additional cans or bags that you would like to have removed would require a $1.00 sticker. The garbage stickers are to be applied to each additional 32-gallon can or bag that you leave out over the normal limit. Stickers can be purchased at Union Bank in Manlius. They are for 40 pounds of garbage. We can’t empty 45 gallon or larger cans or barrels. If you would have a larger item that you need to dispose of like an old chair or table, stickers can be applied to pay for the extra weight. Our office staff can tell you how many stickers to apply.
