Garbage service is done in the Village of Hennepin on Friday. Each residence may leave out 32-gallon cans or bags weighing less than 40 pounds for pickup by 6:00 a.m. Each residence is billed on an individual basis at $8.50 per month.

Curbside recycling is done every other Friday. Each residence will receive one recycling container. The Village will pick up yard waste.

     The Village of Hennepin will hold a Spring Clean up each year. Each residence is allowed a 4 x 8 x 3’ pile of garbage. Items that are not accepted at the landfill and cannot be taken are as follows; tires, batteries, building materials, chucks of concrete, yard waste or hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals or petroleum products, etc.
