Residential garbage service is done in the Village of Depue on Wednesday. Curbside recycling is done every other Wednesday. Garbage and recycling should be placed at the curb by 6:00 a.m.

     Each household may leave out two- 32-gallon bags or cans per week. Additional garbage requires a garbage sticker. These stickers are $1 each and must be applied to every can or bag left out over the 2 can limit. 45 gallon and 55 gallon containers will not be emptied. Garbage stickers can be purchased at the Giant’s Den.

     The Village of Depue holds a Spring Clean Up day each year. Each household is allowed one 4’x8’x3’ pile of garbage. The following items will not be removed – Yard waste, tires, auto parts, batteries, hazardous waste, building materials, concrete, bricks or blacktop.
